Appendix D — Tuning Tables
The numbers that make Push Lab - Discovery Workshop play the way it does. Change them to remix the game: the game’s Logic reads them from here. Try one change at a time, and run the game after each. If something stops working, put the old number back.
D.1 Data Tables
D.1.1 Impulse Settings
Shared dial tuning: maximum is the greatest magnitude in N s; increment is its smallest selectable change in N s.
400.1D.1.2 Push Readings
One row per accepted pair push, oldest first. Batch is its push number. Each cart has measured Mass (kg), signed AppliedImpulse (N s), immediate Before and After horizontal velocities (m/s), and Delta = After - Before (m/s). These are historical measurements, not current velocities.
D.1.3 Weight Pattern
One row per rack stack. A denomination may occupy two stacks. Object chooses its existing weight art; mass is kg; copies is the generated count (0..4); rackX/rackY and stackRise are meters; initialCopper is the count starting on Copper (four total seats); height is the existing art height in meters. Opening repairs invalid counts and nonpositive mass before creating or weighing anything.

Live generated weights in creation order. number links to the saved Per Instance identity; mass is kilograms. cart owns location: 0 rack, 1 Blue, 2 Copper, -1 held. seat is 1-based on a cart and 0 otherwise. A held weight contributes no cart mass; its previousCart/previousSeat instance values restore an interrupted hand. Create adds the row; Destroy removes it.
D.1.5 Cart Load Settings
The cart row tunes the shared four-seat geometry. capacity is the number of seats; firstSeatX, spacing and cartTop are local meters above the native cart origin. dropHalfWidth/dropHalfHeight are the cart drop window half sizes in meters; dropRise raises its center above the cart origin.
4-1.1250.750.352.11.30.7D.1.6 Reading Ticket Settings
Pinned-paper template and regular layout in meters: object is the paper control; firstX/spacing locate its three centers; paperY is their shared height.
Reading Ticket18.951.77514.2D.1.7 Goal Settings
A goal rule: minimumRatio compares masses; minimumChange and changeTolerance compare immediate velocity changes; minimumBefore and stopTolerance define braking; targetVelocity and targetTolerance define the signed target, all speeds in m/s.
50.50.10.50.0820.08D.1.8 Starting Setup Values
Temporary staging for portable starting setups. value is loaded before application; minimum and maximum validate numeric fields. Rows name controls, rail X in meters, and matching project tuning. These are not live settings. Before validation, weightCount maximum follows the actual registered Workshop Weights count; the file count must equal that count.

Temporary validated file arrangement. number matches a live weight; cart is 0 rack, 1 Blue, 2 Copper; seat is 0 on rack or a 1-based seat; mass is kg and must match the native project.
D.2 Logic Numbers
The numbers and colors each Logic Component keeps in its Shared Variables and Per Instance Variables, with the Starting Value its card gives. A value set on its Object, under Variables in the Properties, or on a placement in the Scene, wins over the value here.
