System Requirements

Myth Engine is a Windows desktop editor. The published requirements page identifies target hardware now and will record the installer-tested configuration with the first public release.

  • Operating system: Windows desktop release supported by the installer.
  • Network: required for account login, trial start, paid activation, downloads, and distributable export validation.
  • Storage: enough free disk space for the editor, project files, and exported builds.

Installer Verification

Supported Windows releases list their code-signing status and SHA-256 checksum in the release notes. Do not install a build whose signature or checksum does not match its release record.

Activations

Paid licenses support 2 active devices. Users can deactivate old devices from the dashboard, and support can reset activations with an audited reason.

Publishing Boundaries

Myth Engine can export games and source projects. Store accounts, signing certificates, ratings, privacy disclosures, platform fees, and third-party asset rights remain the publisher's responsibility.

Update Policy

The paid license includes free lifetime Myth Engine updates. Recalled builds may be hidden when there is a security, legal, payment, or severe data-loss issue.
