UI Interaction supports 2D Objects, with at most one component per Object. It works on Screen UI Objects whose Transform Presentation Space is Window / UI.

Sprite and Text supply the Object’s artwork. Turning Interaction Enabled off blocks input while that artwork stays visible; it also stops generated Bar fills and List rows. On World Objects, this component creates no click targets or generated Bar and List content.

See UI and buttons for setup and activation Logic. Object components explains definitions and instance overrides.

The factory default below comes from normalizing an empty UI Interaction component. Preset values can differ. Writable identifies properties exposed for Logic writes, including the enabled field below.

Properties

Property and path Type Factory default Behavior Writable
Interaction Enabled (enabled) boolean true Whether UI interaction accepts activation and value changes. Art and text remain separate components. Yes
